report of the initial PiL gig on John Lydon's post-Pistols band's reformation tour is positive. This YouTubeage supports the opinion. Was it 1985 when PiL came to Australia? I heard it was with a line-up made up of session hacks so I kept away.

It was 1984 when they came to Aus. I believe it was billed as the "Have a Rotten Christmas" tour.
I was at the Hordern for the show - brilliant show except for the f'wits who gobbed up a storm. Lydon almost walked off as a result.
